Study matters associated with maintaining and enhancing the university’s environment for research, scholarship, and creative endeavors and make recommendations to the Senate as deemed appropriate.
Collaborate with the Research Office, the Office of Sponsored Programs, the Office of Human Research Protections, and the Office of Research Integrity regarding said endeavors.
Evaluate applications for Research and Scholarship Advancement Grants. Provide a subset of committee members to serve on faculty research integrity evaluation hearing panels on an as-needed basis when requested by the Office of Research Integrity.
